| Some women with enlongated or uneven labia minora (the inner labia) find themselves bruising or tearing when wearing pants or exercising. Others feel very self-conscious when they wear a bathing suit or are making love. These deformities can be congenital (present at the time of birth) or they can be the result of accidents or trauma.
