Which areas are able to be liposuctioned?
A: Areas that can be liposuctioned include, but are
not limited to, chin, arms, breasts, abdomen, back, hips, inner
& outer thighs, love handles, legs, calves, and buttocks. Additionally
many men use liposuction to reduce Gynecomastia (enlarged breasts).
Is Tumescent Liposuction safer than traditional liposuction?
A: Yes. Tumescent Liposuction has been featured on ABC's 20/20
and is considered the safest form of liposuction. It is performed
in the office using local anesthesia or/with light IV sedation. Compared
to traditional liposuction, there is less discomfort and blood loss
and recovery is quicker.
Q: How much does it cost
and how many CCs of fat are taken out?
A: Cost varies with the areas that are to be liposuctioned. Rates
are reduced when combining areas or procedures. The number of CCs
removed, as well as an estimate of costs, vary with the individual.
